AberLift seeks to solve the apparently invincible carpooling situation. There are a few fundamental problems with car-pooling[1][2] - and it aims to take on them - one at a time. AberLift is a powerful platform for lift sharing built exclusively for students of Aberystwyth University in Wales, United Kingdom, and that’s where it’s name comes from (not Uber).

By limiting the application to the domain of a single organisation, at least a few major complications with forming and participating in carpool, such as user trust, background checks and security are immediately diminished or eliminated. Plus, it is more likely for the users to find common destinations and boarding points as AberLift connects 13 college campuses and dormitories - unlike a platform which works universally.

My friend, Marcin Kosela worked on product design, marketing, finance (and legal!) terms and I designed and developed the app.
